Why Groups?

We aren't meant to do life alone. Be part of a community of people who will encourage you in your relationship with God.

We at North Point believe this is where real growth happens and where real relationships start. We strive to do what Jesus did, when He was on this earth He did Church in several ways but where He spent most of His time was with His twelve disciples (small group). We believe that is how we are to carry out Church today. Community (Sunday Celebrations) Small Group (DNA/Life Groups) and Alone Time With God (Meditation/Prayer)

DNA Groups

Join 2-3 people in a journey of life together.

This group is meant to be a huge part in staying accountable to one another and having a person or two lean on as life hits you with trials of many kinds. If you are wondering how exactly this should be ran or look like go to the group resource tab and click on the link for DNA group handout.

Groups do this by engaging in the "DNA" process together:

Discover what God is saying in His word (study the Bible)

Nurture our Christian walk (build up our faith in everyday life)

Act on what we learn together (hold each other accountable)

Life Groups

These are groups are meant to look more like small groups.

A group that consist of anywhere in the ball park of 5-10 people that share some common interest. Many times this is a great place to meet with 3-4 other couples and share thoughts and grow in a relationship with both each other and with God. If this is something that you would be interested in starting or joining one already going then contact the office and we will make sure that happens.

Community Groups

We are not meant to do church alone.

We are not meant to do church alone. God states where 2 or 3 are gathered he will be there. Community groups are meant to be a place that is church away from the normal Sunday celebrations. There are main ones that take place regularly which are both the men and women bible studies. Be free to walk in and join one at any time.
